Finance Director

We are looking for a Finance Director to join our team in İstanbul, Turkey. This role is responsible for leading all financial processes end-to-end for DP World Turkey Freight, ensuring financial discipline, profitability and strong governance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide financial leadership fully aligned with business priorities; manage budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning.
• Deliver accurate, timely financial reporting in line with IFRS and local regulations.
• Manage month-end closing, variance analysis and submission of results through group reporting systems such as EPBCS and BPC.
• Improve cost control, margin quality and customer profitability.
• Oversee accounting integrity, revenue recognition, accruals, provisions and tax compliance, including corporate tax, VAT and transfer pricing requirements.
• Lead cash flow and liquidity planning; manage banking relationships and enhance working capital KPIs.
• Support commercial teams with pricing, tender reviews and customer profitability insights.
• Identify and mitigate financial, credit, FX and operational risks; strengthen internal controls.
• Collaborate with cluster, regional and global finance teams; manage relationships with auditors, tax authorities and financial institutions.
Lead, coach and develop the finance team to ensure a high-performance culture.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration; MBA, CPA or ACCA preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience, including 3+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong background in freight forwarding, logistics or supply chain environments preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of IFRS, Turkish tax legislation and transfer pricing.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle Fusion or Microsoft Navision.
• Proven ability in financial planning, cash flow management and performance improvement.
• Strong analytical, commercial and communication skills; ability to operate effectively in a multinational matrix structure.
• Fluency in English and Turkish is required.
