Role Overview

We are seeking a Finance Executive with strong accounting skills and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will manage daily accounting operations, assist in financial reporting, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, systems, and automation in a tech-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Record and reconcile all financial transactions accurately and on time.
• Maintain ledgers for accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and fixed assets.
• Ensure accuracy of journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Perform month-end and year-end closings in coordination with the CFO.
• Prepare and maintain supporting documentation for all entries.

Financial Reporting

• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Prepare schedules and reconciliations for internal and external audits.
• Support management with financial analysis and variance reports.

Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Process vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and supplier payments.
• Track and follow up on customer invoices and collections.
• Monitor aging reports and prepare payment/collection schedules.

System & Process Management

• Work with QuickBooks to record and track transactions.
• Support automation initiatives and integration of AI tools in financial operations.
• Identify process improvements to enhance accounting accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• Part-qualified or pursuing ACCA / CMA / CA is preferred.

Experience:

• 2-3 years of solid accounting experience in a corporate or tech environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial statements.

Skills:

• Proficiency in accounting software QuickBooks.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with AI tools or automation is a plus.
