Finance Executive

Job Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Executive to manage day-to-day bookkeeping, maintain accurate financial records, support monthly closing, and assist the finance department with cashflow reporting and forecasting.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling routine accounting tasks, working with QuickBooks, maintaining proper documentation, preparing reconciliations, and coordinating with external accountants and auditors where required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain daily bookkeeping and accounting records in QuickBooks
  • Record sales, purchases, expenses, payments, receipts, and other financial transactions accurately and on time
  • Prepare supplier payment schedules and assist with timely payments after approval
  • Maintain proper filing of invoices, bank statements, payroll records, tax records, and accounting schedules
  • Support monthly closing of books, including reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and month-end schedules
  • Assist in preparing monthly financial reports for internal review
  • Support the finance department in preparing cashflow reports and group cashflow forecasts
  • Assist with monthly payroll processing for employees in line with company policy and applicable Pakistani payroll requirements
  • Maintain payroll-related records, including salary details, attendance inputs, deductions, advances, reimbursements, and supporting documentation
  • Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and tax consultants by providing required records and schedules
  • Assist with internal reviews, external audits, and year-end accounts preparation

Requirements:

  • MBA Finance, B.Com, M.Com, ACCA part-qualified, CA Inter, or any relevant accounting qualification
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant accounting, bookkeeping, or finance operations experience
  • Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks and Excel; experience with Xero or Zoho Books will be an added advantage
  • Practical experience in bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, supplier payments, receivables/payables tracking, payroll support, and month-end closing
  • Basic understanding of Pakistani tax filing, payroll, and corporate compliance requirements
  • Good understanding of financial documentation, accounting records, and basic internal controls
  • Ability to coordinate with external auditors, accountants, and tax consultants by providing required records and schedules
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage daily accounting tasks independently and meet deadlines
