Job Overview:
The Finance Executive will assist the Assistant Manager Finance in all functions, including but not limited to, in maintaining accounting records, reconciliations, vendor management, and coordination with logistics, purchase & other departments for document verification and payments, internal management reporting, statutory compliance, tax compliance, budgeting & forecasting and banking issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure effective preparation of periodical financial reports and ledgers. Ensure efficient internal & external reporting.
- Perform bank, vendor, inventory and inter-department reconciliations.
- Manage vendor payments and maintain payment schedules.
- Verify documentation from purchase and logistics departments before posting in ERP.
- Support tax data preparation & compliance and budgeting & forecasting.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure internal controls are followed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- A part-qualified ACA, ACCA, or CMA
- 3–5 years of experience in accounting operations, preferably in trading or retail sector.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and financial documentation workflows.
- Good analytical and reconciliation skills. Proven ability of effective budgeting & planning. Effective experience of bank financing & import/export related issues.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI and accounting software.
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
