Givens Communities is looking to welcome summer interns to support our Financial Operations team! This is an incredible opportunity to gain hands-on experience with various facets of financial operations within a large non-profit. This opportunity is open to individuals located in Asheville, Charlotte, or Black Mountain areas and will provide 24-40 hours per week.

Some projects you could be a part of:

• ERP or AP system implementation preparation including but not limited to various system scrub/ clean up projects within various systems such as Yardi, Matrixcare 360, and Fixed Asset system scrub before transitioning to new ERP
• Procurement analysis support
• SharePoint restructure
• AP vendor data collection - contacting vendors to request info we are missing such as W-9s or certificates of insurance
• Reviewing basic reconciliations
• Plus much more

What we are looking for:

• Have completed intermediate accounting classes
• Currently or planning to pursue accounting or finance related degree
• Willingness to collaborate with other team members on projects
• Ability to work on-site at our Asheville, Black Mountain, or Charlotte campuses

Compensation is $18 per hour

We currently have five communities (three life plan communities and two affordable communities) with plans for many more in the coming years.
