Finance Internship - Summer 2026

M-D is seeking an analytical and motivated Finance Intern to join our Finance team. This paid internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Conduct data analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Collaborate with the finance team to analyze cost trends and identify areas for cost savings and operational efficiency.
• Help maintain and update financial records and databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Support the team in reconciling accounts and verifying financial transactions.
• Assist with audits by gathering and organizing necessary documentation.
• Research and analyze financial metrics and provide insights to improve decision-making.
• Participate in special projects related to financial modeling, process improvement, or system implementation.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, data analysis tools).
• Basic knowledge of financial principles and accounting practices.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with financial software or ERP systems is a plus but not required.
