Role Summary
The Finance & Investment Manager will be responsible for leading the Group’s financial strategy, taxation compliance, investment analysis, treasury management, and internal financial controls.
This is a senior strategic role above the Assistant Manager – Accounts & Finance position and will supervise and guide the finance department while maintaining oversight across subsidiaries and new ventures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Financial Strategy, Reporting & Planning
- Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the Group and subsidiaries under IFRS.
- Develop short-term and long-term financial plans (6-month, 1-year, 3-year projections).
- Conduct financial analysis, KPI tracking, and variance reporting.
- Identify financial trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Prepare financial reports for Board and Chairman-level review.
- Lead annual budgeting process and rolling forecast monitoring.
- Ensure proper consolidation across all Group entities.
2. Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Prepare and monitor 12-month cash flow forecasts across subsidiaries.
- Optimize working capital cycles.
- Oversee receivables and payables discipline.
- Manage banking relationships and negotiate credit facilities.
- Structure funding strategies for expansion and operations.
- Identify alternative financing solutions (bank loans, investors, partnerships).
3. Investment & Business Growth Strategy
- Conduct feasibility studies for acquisitions, joint ventures, and expansions.
- Perform due diligence and financial risk assessments.
- Develop detailed financial models (Buy vs Build, IRR, NPV, ROI analysis).
- Conduct valuation analysis for mergers, acquisitions, and divestments.
- Provide strategic recommendations on restructuring or liquidation of underperforming units.
- Conduct industry and market financial research to identify new opportunities.
4. Taxation & Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure accurate and timely filing with UAE Federal Tax Authority (VAT, Corporate Tax, Excise where applicable).
- Liaise with external tax advisors and auditors.
- Maintain updated knowledge of UAE tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Develop tax-efficient structuring strategies.
- Manage tax audits and documentation.
- Monitor tax exposure across subsidiaries and related entities.
5. Accounting Oversight & Internal Controls
- Supervise the Assistant Manager – Accounts & Finance and accounting team.
- Oversee general ledger, AR, AP, payroll (WPS), and reconciliations.
- Lead external audits and implement corrective actions.
- Establish and enhance internal controls to prevent fraud and financial mismanagement.
- Monitor fixed assets, inventory, and insurance coverage.
- Ensure compliance with UAE corporate laws and accounting standards.
6. Risk Management
- Identify and mitigate financial risks (liquidity, FX exposure, credit risk, operational risk).
- Ensure proper insurance coverage (professional liability, staff, asset insurance).
- Conduct periodic financial health reviews.
7. Mergers, Acquisitions & Divestments
- Lead financial evaluation for mergers and acquisitions.
- Prepare structured due diligence reports.
- Support transaction structuring and negotiation from financial perspective.
- Recommend optimal timing and strategy for investments and exits.
8. Financial Systems & Automation
- Evaluate and implement ERP and MIS systems.
- Improve financial reporting automation.
- Ensure secure and efficient financial software management.
- Coordinate with IT regarding financial system infrastructure.
9. Stakeholder & Banking Relations
- Maintain relationships with banks, investors, and financial institutions.
- Negotiate credit lines and financial facilities.
- Manage partner/shareholder reporting and capital contribution tracking.
10. Leadership & Department Development
- Mentor and supervise finance team.
- Build financial discipline across the organization.
- Establish financial governance standards.
- Participate in hiring and structuring finance department growth.
Skills & Qualifications Required
- Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- CPA / ACCA / CMA / CFA (preferred).
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in finance, accounting, and investment analysis.
- Experience in M&A, valuation, financial modeling, and strategic planning.
- Strong knowledge of UAE financial regulations, IFRS, VAT, Corporate Tax.
- Experience handling FTA audits and tax compliance.
- Strong ERP and financial modeling proficiency.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Pay: AED17,000.00 - AED22,000.00 per month
