1. Position Overview

We are a comprehensive law firm in a rapid growth phase and are now seeking an experienced, strategically-minded Finance Manager. This role will be fully responsible for the firm’s financial operations and management system development, providing core financial support for strategic decision-making, business expansion, and compliance operations.

2. Key Responsibilities

Establish and improve financial management systems, internal control processes, and accounting systems that align with law firm operations and regulatory requirements.

Approve financial vouchers and documents.

Lead overall budget management, fund planning and operations, cost control (including case cost analysis), tax planning, and filing.

Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports in depth, providing accurate financial insights and decision-making recommendations to managing partners.

Participate in major firm matters involving financial evaluation and provide financial expertise to business departments on pricing, cost control, etc.

Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, banks, and other regulatory bodies to maintain good relationships and ensure compliant operations.

Drive financial process optimization and digital transformation to improve financial management efficiency and informatization.

Be responsible for the building, training, and daily management of the finance team.

3. Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Requirements:

Aged 30–55 (flexibility may be considered for exceptional candidates).

Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Professional Certifications:

Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CMA, or CTA are highly preferred.

Work Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of financial management experience. Experience in a law firm, accounting firm, professional service organization, or as a finance lead in a medium-to-large enterprise is preferred.

Proficient in core financial areas including financial management, accounting, comprehensive budgeting, treasury management, and tax planning.

Competencies:

Strategic financial mindset with the ability to contribute to financial decision-making from both business and strategic perspectives.

Excellent communication, coordination, team management, and resilience under pressure.

Meticulous, principled, with a strong sense of professional ethics and confidentiality.

A combined background in legal and financial management knowledge is a plus.

4. Working Hours

ü Standard working hours system, five days per week.

ü Working hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

ü Overtime may be required during month-end, quarter-end, year-end closing periods, or for major projects, in line with the nature of finance work.
