We are looking for an experienced Finance Lead to supervise, track, and evaluate day-to-day finance and accounting activities. The role is responsible for establishing and maintaining the organization’s financial position by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information, while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and strong financial controls.
Your responsibilities:
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and timely reconciliation of all General Ledger accounts
- Monitor and analyze financial and accounting data and produce accurate financial reports and statements
- Establish, implement, and enforce proper financial and accounting methods, policies, and internal controls
- Coordinate and complete annual audits, with strong focus on GL and reconciliation support
- Provide financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to management
- Improve finance systems, controls, and reconciliation processes and initiate corrective actions
- Assign tasks and lead the finance team to ensure compliance, accuracy, and timely closings
- Ensure finance objectives, reporting deadlines, and statutory compliance requirements are met
- Establish and maintain proper fiscal files and records to document all financial transactions
Skill sets/Experience we require:
- Proven working experience as a Finance Lead, Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor, or Finance Manager
- Strong hands-on expertise in General Ledger management and balance sheet reconciliations (mandatory)
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and accounting software
- Strong ability to analyze and manage large volumes of financial data
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
- High attention to detail with strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Proven ability to lead and supervise finance and accounting teams
Pedigree:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional certification such as ICWA / ACCA / CA / CPA / CMA – preferred
