Role Overview
The Finance Manager will oversee the financial health of the organization, ensuring effective financial management, planning, and compliance. This role involves strategic budgeting, cash flow management, and financial analysis to support project viability and business growth in the real estate sector.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Planning & Analysis
- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans in alignment with project timelines.
- Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Evaluate the financial feasibility of new projects and investments.
2. Accounting & Reporting
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations in compliance with accounting standards (Ind AS).
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Coordinate with auditors for statutory and internal audits.
3. Cash Flow & Fund Management
- Monitor cash flows, working capital requirements, and project funding needs.
- Manage relationships with banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions for loans, overdrafts, and project finance.
- Ensure timely collections and payments to maintain liquidity.
4. Taxation & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with direct and indirect tax laws (GST, TDS, Income Tax).
- Handle RERA-related financial documentation and compliance.
- Liaise with consultants and government authorities for regulatory filings.
5. Cost & Project Control
- Track project costs and profitability.
- Implement cost control measures to improve margins.
- Analyze contractor payments, procurement expenses, and project overheads.
6. Strategic Support
- Provide financial insights to support management decisions.
- Participate in business planning and risk assessment for upcoming ventures.
- Drive automation and implementation of ERP/accounting systems (e.g., Tally ERP, SAP).
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
- Experience: 7–12 years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably in the real estate or construction industry.
- Location Preference: Based in or willing to relocate to Coimbatore.
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and financial regulations.
- Experience in project-based financial management.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP / SAP / MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and senior management.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
