About the Role
The Finance Manager will be responsible for maintaining accurate books of accounts, managing statutory compliance, supporting U.S. project accounting, and ensuring financial control processes that align with both Indian and U.S. reporting standards. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Tally ERP / Tally Prime, knowledge of financial controls, and an ability to work within a distributed international environment.

Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting operations in Tally ERP / Tally Prime, including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and cash flow reports for India operations.
Ensure timely and compliant filings under Indian laws (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, etc.).
Support U.S. project-level cost tracking, expense allocation, and time-based billing records.
Monitor internal financial controls, approval workflows, and documentation for audit readiness.
Maintain accurate accounts payable and receivable, vendor ledgers, and payment records.
Reconcile bank accounts, intercompany transactions, and forex adjustments.
Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and banking partners in India and the U.S.
Assist management in budgeting, variance analysis, and financial planning.
Ensure all financial data aligns with GAAP and Indian accounting standards.
Support compliance for U.S. federal contracting requirements, including documentation for Simplified Acquisition and subcontract reporting.

Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (Master’s or CA Inter preferred).
3–6 years of professional experience in accounting, preferably in IT / software services companies.
Proficiency in Tally ERP / Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel.
Strong knowledge of financial control frameworks, reconciliation processes, and audit procedures.
Understanding of GST, TDS, and Indian statutory compliances.
Exposure to U.S. reporting formats (QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar) is a plus.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and coordinate across global teams.

Experience in project accounting for software or service delivery contracts.
Familiarity with government contract compliance and cost allocation principles.
Understanding of multi-currency transactions and intercompany accounting.
Prior experience in a U.S.-India cross-border business environment.
