The Financial Manager will be working in line with the General Manager and will be reporting to the General Manager and Regional Office Finance Team. The incumbent will work in close communication and coordination with Regional Office team to make sure the Company’s financial procedures and reporting is well established and implemented. The Financial Manager will also be in charge of the HR function for the staff in Turkey, supporting the General Manager in HR issues.


  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
  • Monitor day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, cash flow, and payroll.
  • Lead the budgeting and financial planning process.
  • Analyze business performance and identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
  • Manage internal audits and coordinate external audits.
  • Prepare on a quarterly/semiannually cost and revenue budget and whenever needed. This budget will need to be compared by the actual results and justifications should be provided when variances arise.
  • Follow up on outstanding accounts receivable and provide an estimated date of collection.
  • Follow up on unbilled revenue balances and provide an estimated date on date of billing and provide justification for delay if applicable.
  • Perform yearly closing by the 25th of January of each year by preparing year end forms. Those forms include but are not limited to:
  • Process Cash certificates.
  • Bank and fixed deposit confirmations.
  • List of personnel data.
  • List of projects invoices and collections.
  • List of all active bank guarantees with copies of relative extensions and/or amendments.
  • List of accruals.
  • Update pension/EOSI
  • Fixed assets count and perform a reconciliation between the actual count and the books.
  • Follow up on tax law and its updates. → Ensuring compliance with statutory law and financial regulations and liaising with the tax consultant
  • Follow up on VAT return withholding and corporate tax. → Preparing company corporate, withholding and VAT tax return and liaising with the tax consultant
  • Managing the audit process and liaising with external personnel as required.
  • Being aware the international financial reporting standards and its amendments.
  • Preparing financial statements.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
  • Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or CFA is an advantage.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in financial management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, standards (GAAP, IFRS), and compliance requirements.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software and MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
