Position Overview
We are seeking a high-profile and experienced Finance Manager to oversee financial operations, tender-related finance compliance, budget planning, and statutory requirements. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in government finance procedures, tender documentation, project costing, and AMC billing cycles.
Key Responsibilities1. Financial Planning & Analysis
- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and AMC project financial plans.
- Analyze financial performance, profitability, and project costing.
- Advise management on financial decision-making and cost optimization.
2. Tender & Government Finance Compliance
- Review tender documents for financial terms, EMD, PBG, LD clauses, and commercial eligibility.
- Manage EMD, Bank Guarantees (BG/PBG), and vendor registrations with government bodies.
- Ensure compliance with tender-specific statutory requirements and financial submissions.
- Coordinate with internal teams to prepare tender estimations and commercial quotations.
3. Billing, Invoicing & Collections
- Oversee AMC billing cycles, work-order-based invoicing, and milestone payments.
- Track receivables from government clients and ensure timely collections.
- Ensure all invoices comply with GST and government department formats.
4. Financial Operations & Controls
- Lead day-to-day accounting activities including AP, AR, payroll, and reconciliations.
- Implement and monitor strong financial controls, audit processes, and compliance checks.
- Maintain accurate records for GST, TDS, PF/ESI, and statutory filings.
5. Audit, Legal & Regulatory Compliance
- Handle statutory audits, internal audits, and government project audits.
- Ensure compliance with all financial laws, GST regulations, and corporate filings.
- Liaise with auditors, banks, financial institutions, and government finance departments.
6. Cross-functional Coordination
- Work closely with AMC operations, procurement, and tendering teams.
- Support pricing decisions, cost estimation, and project profitability analysis.
- Manage vendor payments, purchase approvals, and contract documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field; MBA Finance / CA Inter preferred.
- 5–10+ years of finance experience, with mandatory experience in government tender-based projects.
- Strong understanding of GST, TDS, audit processes, and statutory compliances.
- Experience with Tally, Zoho Books, or ERP finance modules.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
