About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager with strong accounting, budgeting, and reporting expertise—particularly within the Nursery & Landscaping industry. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience using Odoo ERP to manage financial operations, inventory costing, and project-based accounting.

This role is critical for maintaining financial health, improving cost efficiency, and supporting strategic decision-making across our nursery, landscaping, and horticulture operations.

Key Responsibilities Financial Management & Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and fixed assets.
• Conduct financial analysis, variance analysis, and cost control reporting.
• Oversee cash flow planning, forecasting, and banking relationships.

Odoo ERP Administration

• Manage financial modules in Odoo: Accounting, Inventory, Invoicing, Expenses, Projects.
• Optimize workflows and ensure data accuracy across all departments.
• Generate customized reports and dashboards for management.

Industry-Specific Duties

• Monitor plant inventory costing, project/job costing, and landscaping project budgets.
• Support pricing strategies for plants, landscaping services, and nursery production.
• Lead financial audits, compliance, and internal controls.

Budgeting & Strategy

• Lead annual budget preparation and periodic reviews.
• Provide financial insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Identify financial risks and propose mitigation strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/ACCA preferred).
• 3–7 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial management.
• Mandatory: Proven experience with Odoo ERP (financial modules).
• Prior experience in Nursery, Landscaping, Agriculture, or related industries is strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and financial modeling skills.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of inventory costing for plants, seeds, fertilizers, and nursery materials.
• Experience in project-based accounting and revenue recognition.
• Ability to automate workflows and improve ERP efficiency.
• Leadership experience in managing a finance team.
