Role Purpose
The finance manager will play a critical role in overseeing NAMI's financial operations. This position is responsible for financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive financial expertise, and the ability to drive strategic financial initiatives that align with the company's growth objectives.
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the organisation's goals and objectives.
- Perform detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis, to drive decision making and improve business performance.
Budgeting and Forecasting
- Lead the annual budgeting and prepare accurate financial forecasts to guide operational planning.
- Monitor and manage cash flow and working capital to ensure financial stability and liquidity.
- Prepare and present accurate financial statements, management reports, and key performance indicators to senior management and the board of directors.
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulations.
Cost Management
- Analyze costs and identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies across the organisation.
- Develop cost allocation strategies to enhance transparency in financial reporting.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and industry standards.
- Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, safeguarding the company's assets.
Vendor & Contract Management
- Manage relationships with financial institutions, auditors, and external stakeholders.
- Oversee contract negotiations and ensure compliance with financial agreements and obligations.
Leadership & Team Management
- Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture and promoting professional development.
- Set performance objectives, conduct regular evaluations, and provide ongoing feedback to team members.
Continuous Improvement
- Drive initiatives for continuous improvement in the finance function, implementing best practices in financial management and reporting.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in financial management tools and technologies.
Education, Qualifications, and Experience
Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred.
Experience
- 15 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a leadership role within the manufacturing or technology sectors.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and best practices.
- Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, focusing on strategic decision making.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop finance teams.
- Exceptional analytical and problem solving abilities, with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with the 3D printing industry or related technological fields is a plus.
