Job Summary

Nordic Holding Bahrain is hiring a Finance Manager with strong hospitality finance experience to lead financial operations, reporting, and controls across our hospitality business. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-driven, and comfortable working with hotel systems including SUN Systems, OPERA PMS, Tally, and advanced Excel (Macros).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day finance operations: AP/AR, GL, cashflow, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing.
• Prepare accurate monthly management reports, variance analysis, and KPI dashboards for leadership.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cost control for hospitality operations (rooms, F&B, events, outlets).
• Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with company policies and audit requirements.
• Oversee revenue integrity processes, including review of daily revenue reports and system reconciliations between OPERA and finance systems.
• Maintain and optimize accounting processes in SUN Systems, including reporting and period closing.
• Support payroll-related finance activities and ensure timely statutory payments (as applicable).
• Build automation and reporting improvements using Excel Macros and structured templates.
• Coordinate external audits, prepare schedules, and respond to audit queries.
• Partner with operational leaders (GM/Operations/F&B) to improve profitability and cost efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

• Hospitality finance experience is mandatory (hotel/resort/F&B group).
• Proven experience as a Finance Manager / Assistant Finance Manager / Senior Accountant in hospitality.
• Hands-on working knowledge of:
• SUN Systems (mandatory)
• OPERA PMS (mandatory)
• Tally (mandatory)
• Advanced Excel including Macros (mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, internal controls, and month-end close.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Education / Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
• Professional certification (ACCA/CPA/CMA) is a plus.
