Finance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the Finance Department and support the strategic direction of our property and facilities management operations in Kuwait.

This is a senior leadership role for a hands on professional who can independently manage financial operations, lead a team, while ensuring full compliance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Finance Department, including Accounts, Treasury, and Credit Control.
  • Oversee financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS standards.
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Provide financial analysis and performance reports to support decision making.
  • Monitor financial performance and analyze variances, particularly within property related accounts.
  • Ensure full compliance with Kuwait statutory and regulatory requirements, including all financial submissions to relevant authorities.
  • Manage audit processes and liaise with external auditors.
  • Oversee cash flow and maintain strong relationships with banking institutions, insurance firms, and government authorities.
  • Establish and improve financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Lead improvements in financial systems and tools from evaluating/selecting new system to implementation and support the company's operational needs.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and long-term financial direction.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Professional certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA or equivalent) preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive finance experience, including senior leadership roles.
  • Experience in real estate is required, property/facilities management exposure is preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of IFRS, including IFRS 15, IFRS 16, and IAS 40.
  • Experience with statutory reporting and compliance in Kuwait.
  • Solid understanding of local financial regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting systems implementation or upgrades.
  • Advanced Excel skills (financial modeling, analysis).
