We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the Finance Department and support the strategic direction of our property and facilities management operations in Kuwait.
This is a senior leadership role for a hands on professional who can independently manage financial operations, lead a team, while ensuring full compliance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Finance Department, including Accounts, Treasury, and Credit Control.
- Oversee financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS standards.
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Provide financial analysis and performance reports to support decision making.
- Monitor financial performance and analyze variances, particularly within property related accounts.
- Ensure full compliance with Kuwait statutory and regulatory requirements, including all financial submissions to relevant authorities.
- Manage audit processes and liaise with external auditors.
- Oversee cash flow and maintain strong relationships with banking institutions, insurance firms, and government authorities.
- Establish and improve financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Lead improvements in financial systems and tools from evaluating/selecting new system to implementation and support the company's operational needs.
- Contribute to strategic planning and long-term financial direction.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA or equivalent) preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive finance experience, including senior leadership roles.
- Experience in real estate is required, property/facilities management exposure is preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS, including IFRS 15, IFRS 16, and IAS 40.
- Experience with statutory reporting and compliance in Kuwait.
- Solid understanding of local financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting systems implementation or upgrades.
- Advanced Excel skills (financial modeling, analysis).
