Job Title: Finance Manager

Job Summary
The Finance Manager is responsible for leading the company’s financial strategy, planning, and operations, ensuring strong financial control, accurate reporting, and effective cash flow management. The role oversees accounting, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and financial performance analysis within a trading and project-based business environment such as lighting and smart home solutions.
Key Responsibilities1. Financial Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business goals.
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
- Provide financial insights to support business growth, pricing, and investment decisions.
2. Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Review management reports, KPIs, and profitability analysis by project, product line, or branch.
- Provide actionable financial analysis to support decision-making.
3. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure business liquidity.
- Control receivables, payables, and overall working capital cycle.
- Optimize payment terms with suppliers and customers.
4. Cost Control & Profitability
- Analyze cost structures across lighting products, smart home solutions, and project execution.
- Monitor gross margins and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure accurate project costing and revenue recognition.
5. Inventory & Operational Finance Oversight
- Supervise inventory valuation and reconciliation with warehouse records.
- Ensure proper financial control over stock movement and procurement.
- Work closely with operations, warehouse, and project teams.
6. Compliance & Audit
- Ensure full compliance with IFRS, local regulations, and company policies.
- Manage internal and external audit processes.
- Implement strong internal financial controls and risk management systems.
7. ERP & Financial Systems Management
- Oversee finance modules in ERP systems (e.g., Odoo, SAP, or similar).
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across accounting, inventory, and sales systems.
- Drive automation and process improvements in financial reporting.
8. Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and supervise the finance and accounting team (Chief Accountant, Senior Accountants, AR/AP staff).
- Set performance goals, review outputs, and ensure team efficiency.
- Provide coaching and professional development to finance staff.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA, CPA, ACCA preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including leadership roles.
- Strong experience in trading, retail, project-based, or technical industries (lighting, electrical, or smart home preferred).
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, and corporate finance.
- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Strong expertise in inventory and project cost control.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (Odoo, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
