Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Finance Manager to lead and oversee financial operations across our UAE and international branches.

The ideal candidate must have strong experience within the Shipping, Logistics, or Automotive / Car Auction industry, with solid expertise in freight costing, cross-border transactions, financial controls, and operational finance management.

This role requires strong leadership, analytical capabilities, ERP system expertise, and close coordination with operations and shipping teams to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all financial operations for UAE and international branches
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and month-end/year-end closing
• Monitor cross-border transactions and ensure compliance and accuracy
• Prepare financial statements, cash flow forecasts, and management reports
• Analyze operational costs and recommend cost-saving initiatives
• Oversee freight and shipping-related costs including:
• Freight charges
• Port charges
• Demurrage & detention
• Carrier invoices
• Coordinate with shipping and operations teams to improve profitability and cost control
• Maintain accurate financial records and audit readiness
• Liaise with auditors, banks, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities
• Implement and strengthen financial controls and compliance procedures
• Supervise payroll, benefits, and financial documentation for international staff
• Lead and support finance teams across multiple branches
• Manage ERP and accounting systems such as Odoo, Zoho Books, or similar platforms

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant UAE experience in Shipping, Logistics, or Automotive / Car Auction industry
• Strong knowledge of shipping finance operations and terminology
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cost control
• Strong understanding of IFRS and financial compliance standards
• Hands-on ERP experience (Odoo, Zoho Books, or similar systems)
• Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment
• Fluent in Arabic and English (Mandatory)

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent certification is an advantage
• Experience managing multi-branch or international financial operations
