Finance Manager

The Supply Chain Finance Manager is responsible for driving execution across key supply chain finance priorities, with focus on automation and simplification of processes, performance metrics, and major strategic initiatives. This position must excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, providing financial analysis, project-based insights, and scalable solutions that improve operational visibility and decision-making.

This role will work cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Operations, Procurement, Engineering, and Analytics teams and will regularly interact with senior leadership to support enterprise-wide initiatives. The individual will be expected to lead complex projects, influence without authority, and develop analytical capabilities within the function.


Location:
Pittsburgh, PA; Chesterfield, MO; Tampa, FL; or Chicago, IL preferred. 30-40% travel required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify and lead opportunities to automate and simplify Supply Chain finance processes, including forecasting, reporting, capital tracking, and cost analysis. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, scalability, and process discipline.

  • Partner with analytics team to design, maintain, and enhance Supply Chain financial dashboards and reporting.

  • Act as the finance lead for major procurement and strategic footprint initiatives.

  • Partner with project teams to track financial performance, risks, and benefits realization.

  • Present analysis, insights, and recommendations to Supply Chain and Finance leadership.

  • Support the Supply Chain financial planning process, including elements of the annual budget, weekly projections, and long-range planning. Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.

  • Lead cross-functional workstreams and initiatives without direct authority.

  • Support change management efforts related to new processes, tools, metrics, and operating models.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Strong ability to drive automation, standardization, and data-driven decision-making.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling. Proficiency in Power BI.

  • Ability to influence and partner effectively with Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance leadership.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a changing environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify inefficiencies and implement practical solutions.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, operations finance, or supply chain finance

  • Experience with ERP and financial systems such as JDE (Oracle), Hyperion/EPM, or similar tools

  • Manufacturing and/or services experience preferred

Education:

  • Undergraduate (B.S./B.A.) degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Math, or a related field is required
