Senior Finance Manager, FP&A

Remote (Must be able to work Central Standard Time business hours)
Travel:
Approximately 2 trips per year to corporate headquarters for leadership meetings, planning sessions, and team collaboration
Position Overview
We are seeking a strategic and highly analytical
Senior Finance Manager, FP&A
to lead forecasting, financial planning, business performance analysis, and executive decision support. This role will serve as a key business partner to senior leadership, translating complex financial data into actionable insights that drive growth and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate brings progressive FP&A experience, exceptional financial modeling capabilities, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to present financial concepts effectively to both finance and non-finance audiences. This individual will also be comfortable leveraging modern AI tools, including
Claude, Microsoft Copilot, and ChatGPT
, to enhance forecasting, reporting, analytics, and business decision-making.
Responsibilities

Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial projections.

Develop, maintain, and enhance complex financial models to support strategic planning, budgeting, scenario analysis, and investment decisions.

Partner with executive leadership and departmental leaders to evaluate business performance, trends, risks, and opportunities.

Prepare and deliver clear, concise financial presentations for executive leadership, business stakeholders, and non-finance audiences.

Drive annual operating plan and long-range planning processes.

Perform variance analysis and provide actionable recommendations to improve business performance.

Support strategic initiatives through financial evaluation, scenario modeling, and business case development.

Develop KPI dashboards and performance reporting tools that provide visibility into key business drivers.

Utilize AI-enabled technologies including Microsoft Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, and other emerging tools to improve reporting efficiency, forecasting accuracy, and analytical capabilities.

Collaborate with accounting, operations, sales, HR, and other functional leaders to ensure alignment between business goals and financial plans.

Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve forecasting methodologies.

Support executive decision-making through data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required.

MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred.

8+ years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic finance experience.

Demonstrated experience leading budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

Advanced financial modeling, scenario planning, and forecasting expertise.

Proven ability to present financial information and recommendations to executive leadership.

Experience communicating complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.

Strong business partnering and influencing skills across multiple functional areas.

Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with financial planning tools and ERP systems.

Experience utilizing AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, or similar technologies in a professional setting.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while collaborating effectively across distributed teams.

Must be available to work CST business hours.
Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence platforms.
