FINANCE MANAGER - Arabic Speaking

Location: Q4-094, Sharjah Freezone, UAE

Industry: Diesel Generator

Reports to: General Manager/ CEO of the Company

Position Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our company specializing in diesel generators. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations, managing accounting staffs, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards, and providing key financial insights to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management

• Supervise and manage all financial and accounting operations.
• Develop and maintain financial systems, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with UAE laws and company objectives.
• Oversee the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow projections.
• Conduct cost analysis and control, focusing on manufacturing and operational expenses.

General Accounting

• Ensure timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure reconciliations of bank accounts, payables, receivables, and inventory.
• Prepare and monitor VAT submissions in compliance with UAE regulations.
• Oversee payroll processing and employee benefit accounting.
• Must have strong knowledge in Financial Planning, budgeting and forecasting

Auditing and Compliance

• Coordinate in internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, and local laws.
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline accounting operations and enhance internal controls.

Team Leadership

• Manage and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and development opportunities.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure the team meets deadlines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, and sales, for financial insights and decision-making.
• Branch coordination experience for financial operations in multiple branches

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CMA, or ACCA certification is preferred)
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive audit accounting experience.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial company is highly desirable.
• Preferably has experience managing teams across multiple branches
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management.
• Must be fluent in English and Arabic speaking
• Willing to be assigned ASAP in United Arab Emirates (UAE)

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Focus, Tally, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.

SOFT SKILLS

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
