Finance manager -Food and Beverages

Duties and Responsibilities of a Finance OfficerFinancial Management & Reporting

• Prepare, review, and maintain accurate financial records and statements
• Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Monitor cash flow, income, and expenditure to ensure financial stability
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts

Budgeting & Planning

• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts
• Monitor budget implementation and report variances
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management
• Support strategic financial planning and cost-control initiatives

Accounting & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial policies, and procedures
• Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions
• Prepare records for internal and external audits and respond to audit queries
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements

Payments & Revenue Management

• Process payments, invoices, payroll, and reimbursements accurately and on time
• Verify payment requests and supporting documentation
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments
• Manage petty cash and ensure proper controls

Internal Controls & Risk Management

• Implement and maintain effective financial controls
• Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation measures
• Ensure segregation of duties and adherence to approval limits
• Support fraud prevention and detection efforts

Systems & Record Keeping

• Maintain financial databases and accounting systems
• Ensure data accuracy, security, and confidentiality
• Update financial policies and procedures as required

Communication & Support

• Provide financial advice and support to management and departments
• Liaise with auditors, banks, suppliers, and regulatory bodies
• Train staff on basic financial procedures and compliance

Other Responsibilities

• Perform any other finance-related duties assigned by management
• Support organizational financial objectives and sustainability
