Finance Manager – Logistics/CHA/CFS

We are looking for a Finance Manager to manage the day-to-day finance and accounts operations for our logistics and CHA/CFS activities. The role includes financial accounting, billing, GST & TDS compliance, cost control, cash flow management, and coordination with branches, banks, and auditors.

Key Responsibilities1. Accounting & Reporting

• Manage daily accounting for logistics, CHA, freight, storage, and transportation activities.
• Handle accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger.
• Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, and MIS reports.
• Ensure accurate billing and revenue recognition for import/export operations.

2. Compliance & Audit

• Ensure timely filing of GST returns, TDS returns, and statutory compliances.
• Coordinate with internal, statutory, and tax auditors.
• Maintain proper documentation for CHA/CFS-related compliance.

3. Costing & Analysis

• Monitor cost of operations (transport, warehousing, CHA expenses).
• Track profitability of branches, customers, and shipments.
• Support pricing, tender preparation, and rate calculations.

4. Cash Flow & Treasury

• Monitor daily cash flow and working capital.
• Manage vendor payments, collections, and outstanding follow-ups.
• Coordinate with banks for OD limits and fund requirements.

5. Process & Team Coordination

• Improve billing, collection, and documentation processes.
• Work closely with logistics, operations, and sales teams.
• Guide and support junior accountants.

Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of accounting, GST, and TDS.
• Hands-on experience in Tally or ERP accounting systems.
• Good understanding of logistics/CHA/CFS billing and documentation.
• Strong Excel and MIS reporting skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and multi-location coordination.

Preferred Candidate

• Candidates from Logistics, CHA, CFS, Transportation, Freight Forwarding industry.
• Experience in multi-branch operations and cargo-related accounting.
• Good communication and team-handling skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
