Position Summary:

The Finance Manager – Seeds acts as the primary finance business partner to the Seeds businesses. The role focuses on improving financial visibility, strengthening cost discipline, and identifying value creation opportunities.

This is an operationally embedded role, not a corporate or transactional finance position. The expectation is to work closely with commercial and operational teams, challenge assumptions, and bring clarity to financial performance.

Reports to: Financial Planning & Analysis Director

Role Responsibilities:

• Act as the dedicated finance partner to the Seeds leadership team, supporting day-to-day and strategic decision-making
• Own financial reporting for the Seeds businesses, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and relevance of information
• Identify and drive value creation opportunities, with a strong focus on cost structure, margins, and operational efficiency
• Improve cost visibility and discipline, leveraging cost accounting expertise to enhance decision-making
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking processes
• Translate financial results into clear insights, highlighting risks, opportunities, and required actions
• Partner with operations and commercial teams to evaluate pricing, profitability, and investment decisions
• Strengthen financial processes and controls where needed, without adding unnecessary complexity
• Support ad-hoc analysis and projects as required by business leadership
Other duties as assigned

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields required.
Master’s in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics preferred.

Job Expectations / Working Conditions:

• Must be willing to travel to multiple US and ex-US locations as needed.
