Finance Officer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Officer (Accountant) to be based in Dubai and support the financial operations of our global group of companies. This role will focus on compliance, controlling company accounts, and providing accurate financial and regulatory reports both locally (UAE) and globally across the group.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage AP, AR, GL, reconciliations, and month/year-end closing.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assist with VAT & Corporate Tax filing in coordination with external advisors.
• Prepare quarterly reports for SCA and semi-annual & annual MLRO reports.
• Support compliance with IFRS, ESR, and UBO regulations.
• Consolidate financials across subsidiaries/regions; prepare group reports & variance analysis.
• Liaise with regulators, auditors, and tax advisors.
• Implement and monitor internal controls across entities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and global financial planning processes.
• Ensure financial records meet audit and compliance standards.
• Identify risks and recommend corrective measures.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance (ACCA, CPA, CMA, CA is a plus).
• 4–6 years’ finance experience, ideally in a multinational/group of companies.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT & Corporate Tax.
• Experience in consolidated reporting and compliance frameworks.
• Proficiency in SAP/Oracle (or similar) + advanced Excel.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• English fluency (Arabic a plus).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to AED5,500.00 per month
