Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of our company. The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the accounting team, ensuring accurate financial reporting, monitoring cash flow, implementing internal controls, and providing strategic financial guidance to support business growth and compliance with UAE regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with IFRS and UAE regulations.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure financial stability.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
- Provide management with financial analysis and reports to support decision-making.
Compliance & Controls
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws, corporate tax regulations, and other financial legislation.
- Liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Review and approve company payments, invoices, and financial transactions.
Strategic & Operational Support
- Partner with senior management to develop financial strategies and business plans.
- Analyze costs, pricing, and profitability for ongoing projects/contracts.
- Support procurement and operations teams with financial insights for project feasibility and cost control.
- Manage company’s banking relationships and negotiate financial facilities when required.
Team Leadership
- Supervise and guide the finance and accounting staff.
- Train and develop the team to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and ensure timely completion of financial responsibilities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
- Minimum 7–10 years of progressive finance/accounting experience, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, and corporate tax laws.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems) and MS Excel.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple priorities.
