Finance Officer / ACCA Trainee

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional to support finance operations with a strong focus on inventory (stock) control, financial reporting, and business planning.

The role requires data-driven decision making, ownership of inventory-related financial metrics, and continuous improvement mindset, aligned with best practices seen in companies like Amazon. You will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting, optimize working capital, and drive business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting (Amazon-style)
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reports
• Build and maintain automated dashboards (Excel/ERP-based)
• Report on:
• COGS (Cost of Goods Sold)
• Inventory movement & aging
• Working capital impact
• Perform variance analysis vs forecast, budget, and prior periods
• Data Analysis & Insights
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Highlight inefficiencies such as excess inventory or stockouts
• Provide actionable insights to improve cash flow and profitability
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with Supply Chain, Procurement, and Sales teams
• Drive accountability for inventory targets across departments
• Support decision-making with financial insights
• Process Improvement & Controls
• Improve reporting accuracy, automation, and efficiency
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements
• Standardize reporting formats and KPIs

• Inventory Turnover Ratio
• Days Inventory Outstanding (DIO)
• Forecast Accuracy (%)
• Inventory Variance / Shrinkage %
• Obsolete & Slow-Moving Inventory %
• Working Capital Efficiency

Qualifications:

• Master Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field or ACCA
• Fresh - 1 year of experience in finance
• Strong Excel skills (advanced formulas, pivot tables, dashboards)
• Experience with ERP systems.
