Job Purpose

• To lead and deliver the transformation of the Finance function by optimizing processes, enhancing SAP capabilities, and integrating finance systems across the organization.
• This role will drive efficiency, standardization, and automation, improve real-time reporting capabilities while ensuring alignment with business objectives in a complex, multi-entity and business environment including residential, hospitality, and destination assets.
• The position will act as a bridge between Finance, IT, and operational stakeholders to deliver scalable, best-in-class finance processes, systems, and timely, insight-driven reporting.

Functional Responsibilities

Finance Transformation & Process Improvement

• Lead end-to-end finance transformation initiatives across core processes (Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Fixed Assets, Treasury).
• Assess current-state processes, identify inefficiencies, and design future-state operating models.
• Drive standardization, simplification, and automation of finance processes across entities and business units.
• Establish and track transformation roadmaps, milestones, and KPIs.
• Blueprint verification, gap analysis and post go-live support management.

SAP Optimization & Systems Integration

• Act as Finance lead for SAP optimization initiatives (configuration improvements, reporting enhancements, controls).
• Identify and resolve gaps in current SAP usage and ensure alignment with leading practices.
• Lead integration of SAP with other systems (e.g., property management, procurement, treasury, and operational platforms).
• Partner with IT to define system architecture, data flows, and governance frameworks.
• Support SAP upgrades, rollouts, and new module implementations where required.

Data, Reporting & Controls

• Improve financial reporting capabilities, including automation, dashboarding, and enabling real-time or near real-time reporting insights for management decision-making.
• Drive the design and implementation of integrated reporting solutions leveraging SAP and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, SAC, Datasphere).
• Enhance data integrity, governance, and consistency across systems to support reliable real-time reporting.
• Strengthen internal controls through system-enabled solutions and process redesign.
• Support audit readiness and remediation of control gaps through sustainable system fixes.

Managerial Responsibilities

• Provide coaching and guidance to finance team members on new processes, systems, and reporting capabilities. This will involve over time building a capable team in-house.
• Establish governance structures for transformation initiatives (steering committees, working groups).
• Manage project budgets, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
• Drive change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new processes, systems, and reporting tools.
• Develop communication, training, and stakeholder engagement plans. Act as a change champion across Finance and the wider business.

Job Requirements

Academic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

Professional qualification preferred (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA:

• MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is a plus.

Years of Experience:

• 15+ years of experience in Finance, Finance Transformation, or ERP implementation roles.

Other Requirements:

• Proven experience leading finance transformation in large, complex organizations (real estate, hospitality, infrastructure, or similar sectors preferred).
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP (e.g., S/4HANA, ECC – FI/CO, integration points).
• Experience delivering reporting transformation, including real-time or near real-time reporting solutions.
• Experience managing end-to-end system implementations or major enhancements.
• Demonstrated success in driving change and influencing senior stakeholders.

Technical Competencies

• Strong expertise in SAP Finance modules (FICO, PS, FI-MM, FI-SD, COPA, OCR, New GL, AP, AR and New AA, Group Consolidation, Basic ABAP and debugging) and integration with other modules - Advanced / Expert
• Strong understanding of SAP reporting capabilities and integration with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, SAC) - Advanced / Expert
• Understanding of end-to-end finance processes (R2R, P2P, O2C) - Advanced / Expert
• Experience with system integration, data migration, and master data governance - Intermediate
• Knowledge of finance automation tools and emerging finance technologies - Intermediate
• Solid understanding of internal controls and audit requirements in system environments - Advanced
• Experience in enabling real-time or near real-time reporting through system architecture, data models, and integrations - Advance d
