Financial Accountant

A leading Pharmaceutical company is actively recruiting a Financial Accountant for their office in Riyadh.

Key aspects of the role include:

• Maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with KSA regulations, and delivering timely financial reports for internal use and external statutory requirements.
• Responsible for the general accounting, accounts payable, payroll, cash flow, tax preparation, fixed assets, and financial reporting.
• Contributes to internal controls and financial compliance, regularly preparing reports for senior management and provide overall support to the Finance Business Partner.
• Recording and reviewing journal entries to ensure accurate ledger balances.
• Managing the financial close process, preparing financial statements and Reconciling transactions.

To be successful you will need to meet the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience as a Financial Accountant or in a similar finance/accounting role.
• Experience in Accounts Payable is necessary.
• Strong understanding of statutory accounting, legal, and taxation frameworks, particularly in KSA.
• Knowledge in international financial reporting standards (IFRS).
• Hands-on experience with SAP ERP systems and Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Pharmaceutical industry background is a must.
