Job Description

Job summary:
  • The General Ledger Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate and complete financial records, preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, supporting month-end and year-end closing activities, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.

Key responsibilities:
  • Prepare and post journal entries in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits with required documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Candidate Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting (mandatory).
  • 3–5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Good command of English (both written and spoken).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
