We are a joint venture between MEIG (Middle East Internet Group), Rocket Internet, and IMENA. Jeeny was established in 2014 as Easy Taxi. However, in 2016, it was revamped as Jeeny to cater to other services. Currently, we are operational in Saudi Arabia and Jordan.

We have offices in Riyadh, Jeddah, Madinah, Dammam, Khobar, Amman, Lahore, and Karachi.

Job Brief

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Financial Accountan t to join our finance team. As an Accountant at Jeeny, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and providing support in financial reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records, including daily data entry for invoices, payments, and accounting transactions
• Manage petty cash, ensuring proper documentation and reconciliation
• Maintain and update inventory sheets, tracking stock movements
• Prepare and post Invoices & payment entries in accounting software
• Assist in preparing salary data sheets and managing transaction records.
• Support basic reporting and ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures
• Perform general administrative tasks, including document management and coordination with vendors
• Collaborate with the Accounts & Finance team to maintain smooth daily operations
  
  

Requirements

• At least 1 - 2 years of experience
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
• Ability to manage multiple operational and administrative tasks efficiently
• Good organizational and communication skills
