Mission

•To ensure accurate and timely financial records and reports, maintain compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and support effective financial operations that contribute to the organization’s stability and growth.

Main activities

•Booking GL entries, including accruals and prepayments, and performing monthly reconciliations

•Booking accounts payable, reviewing invoices for accuracy and proper tax treatment, and reconciling vendor accounts

•Prepares payments vouchers by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.

•Booking cash and bank transactions, performing bank reconciliations, and monitoring cash balances

•Ensure the accuracy, quality, efficiency, and completion of all balance sheet reconciliations and identify and communicate findings.

•Ensuring compliance with tax filings and statutory requirements.

•Preparing supporting schedules, financial reports, and documentation for audits.

•Assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes

•Coordinating with regional finance teams and providing support for accounting and compliance queries

•Identifying discrepancies or variances in accounts and assisting in resolving them

•Perform general financial administration when required.

•Act as the point of contact with tax authorities, auditors, and banks.

•Prepare ad hoc reports as needed.

Required Skills:

•Fluent in English (both written and spoken).

•Excellent communication skills.

•Strong knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office.

•Demonstrated proficiency in accounting principles and practices.

•Thorough understanding of local regulations and constraints.

Preferred Skills:

•Experience with accounting software and ERP systems Oracle is preferred

•High attention to detail and strong analytical skills

•Ability to meet deadlines and work with multiple stakeholders

Education:

•Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.

Experience:

•2–3 years of relevant accounting experience, with exposure to tax and regulatory compliance

•Partly qualified or qualified CA / ACCA / CMA is an advantage
