Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Accountant with proven expertise in Zoho Books, strong vendor management skills, and excellent customer service experience. This role requires technical accounting knowledge, the ability to interact professionally with clients and stakeholders, and the ability to be service-driven. Prior experience working in an IT company is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations within Zoho Books, including accounts payable, receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
- Ensure smooth integration of Zoho Books with other business tools and troubleshoot any issues.
- Oversee vendor management, including contracts, billing, and payment cycles.
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to support business decision-making.
- Handle tax computations, compliance, and audits with precision.
- Support and train internal teams on Zoho Books usage and best practices.
- Interact directly with clients and vendors, resolving queries and ensuring a high standard of financial customer service.
- Act as the point of contact for financial escalations, ensuring professional and timely communication.
- Contribute to process improvements for financial accuracy, transparency, and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred).
- Expert-level proficiency in Zoho Books (hands-on experience with setup, customization, reporting, and integrations is essential).
- 5+ years of professional experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in an IT company.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, compliance standards, and vendor management practices.
- Proficient in English (reading, writing, and presenting).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated customer-facing experience.
- Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets and familiarity with ERP/CRM systems are a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines with attention to detail.
