Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Entries:

• Input and maintain accurate records of financial transactions into accounting software.
• Ensure timely and precise entry of invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial data.
• Verify the accuracy of data input and resolve any discrepancies or errors promptly.

Financial Analysis and Reporting:

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Conduct basic financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
• Help identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement in financial performance.

Communication and Collaboration:

• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial data.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments to gather relevant information and facilitate cross-functional projects.
• Assist in responding to inquiries from internal stakeholders and external parties regarding financial matters.

Education and Experience:

• Accounting qualification such as ACCA/CA or equivalent
• Min. 2 years experience at an Audit Firm
• Preference will be given to people who have experience of working with the Big 4.

Skills:

• Proficiency in accounting and familiarity with accounting software.
• Basic understanding of financial principles and terminology.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Hands on experience on QuickBooks Online is a plus.
