Job Summary
IDEA Insurance is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Administrative Assistant to support our Operations team.

This role is responsible for processing, reconciling, and tracking insurance commissions and payments across multiple product lines. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with financial data, and committed to accuracy and accountability.

This position plays a key role in maintaining operational integrity and ensuring timely and accurate commission reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Process, reconcile, and track W-2 and 1099 commission payments across ACA, Medicare, Life, Ancillary products, and sub-agencies
  • Reconcile commission data with sales records, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues promptly
  • Maintain detailed records of all commission transactions for audit purposes and future reference
  • Collaborate with sales teams and management to clarify commission structures and resolve any payment concerns
  • Generate comprehensive reports on commission activity for internal review and compliance purposes
  • Support the implementation of new financial systems or updates to existing software to enhance efficiency
  • Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to commission payments

Requirements

  • Bilingual (English and Spanish)
  • 1+ year in commissions, payments, insurance operations, or accounting support
  • Commission processing and reconciliation
  • Financial reporting and data validation
  • Excel proficiency
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confidential data handling

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
