JOB SUMMARY
This role is primarily responsible for evaluating financial trends and outcomes related to workforce budgeting and reconciliation, financial forecasts, and forward-looking business plans to support pediatric APP strategic decision-making. This position is expected to develop, measure and manage an annual operating budget of approximately $90 million, including over 400 clinical positions. Other duties include the evaluation of payroll transactions and related professional effort reporting by specialty and work location to ensure accuracy and compliance. This role will analyze professional and technical patient billing data to identify clinical and collection trends and opportunities for improvement. The development of comprehensive financial plans and pro forma modeling are also important duties. A key attribute for the successful candidate is the ability to present important findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders. Strong communication and collaboration skills are a requisite for engaging with financial and clinical operational leadership and other Medical Group cross-functional teams. Advanced expertise in financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting is important as well. Please note, this position does not support H1B visa sponsorship.

Bachelor's Degree In finance, accounting, or related field or

Experience
6 years Experience in finance with demonstration in planning, forecasting, and financial analysis, plus analytical ability to understand complex financial activities of healthcare initiatives (or research initiatives depending on department needs).

JOB DUTIES
Provides financial support for all areas of department.
Reviews and plan for various financial projections within team. Identifies areas of financial risk, present findings, and makes recommendations to management.
Plans, leads, coordinates, and manages budgeting and forecasting activities. Evaluates, prioritizes, assigns and implements capital projects.
Manages, directs and plans evaluation of departments or team's financial performance. Develops and recommends actions to achieve financial objectives.
Provides strategic consultation and guidance to management on financial or compliance issues, evaluates business processes and creates recommendations for optimizing impact on business initiatives.
Performs financial analysis on various projects. Accesses and utilizes financial data from various data sources.
Develops and manages work plans to meet target dates and deliverables.
Completes complex projects as requested.
Performs other duties as assigned.
