We are looking for a Financial Affairs Manager for our client. Our client is a holding company operating in different sectors.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree or certifications such as SMMM, CPA, or CMA are a plus,
  • 6–15 years of progressively responsible experience in finance and accounting, ideally in industrial, energy, manufacturing, or similarly complex sectors,
  • Strong knowledge of Turkish tax regulations, VUK, TFRS; IFRS familiarity is an advantage,
  • Experience with cost accounting, fixed asset management, and large-scale operational budgeting,
  • Proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Logo, etc.),
  • Strong analytical mindset, accuracy, and attention to detail,
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and manage financial processes in high-intensity environments,
  • Effective leadership, communication, and team management skills.


Key Responsibilities


  • Manage end-to-end accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, cost accounting, payroll, and period-end closing processes,
  • Prepare and present financial statements in compliance with local regulations (VUK / TFRS) and internal reporting standards,
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning efforts,
  • Ensure full compliance with tax legislation; coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities when required,
  • Monitor cash flow, manage financial risks, and support treasury and financing activities,
  • Establish, review, and strengthen internal controls, financial processes, and operational workflows,
  • Conduct cost analyses, performance reports, and variance reviews to support operational decision-making,
  • Provide financial guidance to management and collaborate with operations, procurement, and technical departments,
  • Lead and develop the finance and accounting team to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.
