Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team at Investments Limited, a leading commercial and residential real estate firm. This role is responsible for performing accounting and financial analysis, creating detailed tables, and generating reports to support the company’s portfolio of properties. The ideal candidate will have a background in accounting and finance, proficiency in data analysis, and the ability to produce actionable insights for senior management to drive strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounting & Financial Analysis:
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts related to real estate assets, including property income, expenses, and capital expenditures.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements) for individual properties and the overall portfolio.
  • Conduct budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to monitor financial performance and identify trends or risks.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal financial policies.
  • Table Creation & Data Management:
  • Design and maintain complex tables and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as occupancy rates, rental income, operating expenses, and net operating income (NOI).
  • Organize and present financial data in clear, visually appealing formats using tools like Microsoft Excel or data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Consolidate data from multiple sources, including property management systems, lease agreements, and market research, to create accurate and comprehensive tables.
  • Report Generation:
  • Develop and run recurring and ad-hoc financial reports.
  • Prepare detailed reports on portfolio performance, market trends, and investment opportunities to support acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing strategies.
  • Present findings in a clear and concise manner, tailoring reports to the needs of different audiences.
  • Automate reporting processes where possible to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting or financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) and experience with financial software (e.g., Yardi).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present data clearly to diverse stakeholders.

Pay: $63,180.63 - $76,088.49 per year
