Job Title: Financial Analyst
Industry : Insurance
Location: (Hybrid/ Remote)
Salary Range: $90,000-$110,000
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closings for insurance entities and management reporting
Prepare monthly premium, loss, and commission entries
Validate claims reporting and escrow account activity
Prepare reporting schedules and dashboards for senior management and board reporting
Maintain reinsurance billing and inventory maintenance
Reconcile reinsurance data inputs and help prepare supporting schedules
Support large data pulls and manipulate raw data into usable insights for finance leadership
Perform routine data reconciliations and investigate any changes that occur
Assist with testing of automated systems prior to their release
Establish new Excel reporting templates as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
1-3 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or insurance operations
Prior exposure to P&C insurance preferred; experience with reinsurance a plus
Excel familiarity (PivotTables, SUMIFS, VLOOKUP)
Experience with Microsoft Power BI a plus
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication skills
