Purpose of the Role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, and business decision-making across the organization. This role will play a critical part in preparing and analyzing financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and management reports, while partnering with business leaders to drive performance and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Support the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements (MTD & YTD) for assigned Business Units.
• Develop and maintain Business Unit–wise Income Statements.
• Generate, analyze, and interpret financial ratio reports.
• Prepare KPI dashboards, performance metrics, and management reports.
• Support preparation of P&L, cash flow forecasts, scenario plans, and long-term business plans.
• Assist in preparing management presentations, financial summaries, and review decks.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of all financial and management reports.

2. Budgeting & Forecasting

• Support preparation of annual budgets in consultation with Business Unit heads and leadership teams.
• Assist in preparing budget review decks and executive summaries.
• Maintain rolling forecasts based on latest performance trends and business insights.
• Perform variance analysis and provide actionable insights on deviations and improvement opportunities.

3. Business Partnering

• Work closely with Business Unit owners to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Assist leadership teams with financial analysis, modelling, and advisory support across Business Units.
• Support preparation of business cases, investment proposals, pricing analyses, and financial evaluations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify cost efficiencies, optimize cost structures, and enhance profitability across profit and cost centers.

4. Financial Planning & Projects

• Assist in finance-led initiatives and cross-functional projects.
• Support preparation of MIS reports, executive dashboards, and cash forecasting summaries.
• Monitor and support capital budgeting activities and effective cash flow planning.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and finance transformation projects.

5. Dashboards & Excel Modelling

• Develop, maintain, and enhance financial dashboards and performance trackers.
• Build robust Excel-based financial models, automated templates, and reporting tools.
• Support preparation of monthly financial packs, data reconciliation, and assumption validation.

Technical Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including automation, dashboards, and financial modelling.
• Strong understanding of P&L, cash flow statements, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Experience with Power BI and data visualization tools is mandatory.

Analytical & Business Skills

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
• Ability to translate complex financial data into clear insights and recommendations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Minimum Qualifications

• Full-time graduation from an accredited university.
• Professional qualification: B.Com / M.Com / CA-Inter.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis or related roles.
• Strong experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance commentary.
• Excellent reporting and presentation skills with the ability to communicate insights effectively.
