Financial Analyst

Our client, a global media company, is looking for a Financial Analyst to join their team! This will be a fully onsite role working out of their office in Midtown Manhattan. The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Please no corp-to-corp applicants or third-party agencies. Sub-contracted candidates or candidates that require immediate sponsorship cannot be considered.

Role Overview:

• Contract Role: 6-month duration, potential to extend is possible but not guaranteed
• Pay: $38-42/hr on W2
• Schedule: Onsite M-F, 9AM to 6PM (1-hour unpaid lunch)
  
  
  

Responsibilities:

• Perform monthly forecasts and budgeting for employee headcounts and compensation
• Assist with financial reporting, planning, analysis, and data processing for compensation and headcounts
• Prepare long-range planning, annual budgets, quarterly outlooks, and monthly financial reviews
• Maintain and update employee information in compensation models accurately
• Perform variance analysis and reconciliations
  
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting, post-graduate degree is preferred
• 2+ years of FP&A experience
• Budgeting/forecasting experience related to HR data (employee headcount or compensation) is highly preferred
• Experience working within the media, entertainment, or streaming industry is a plus
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, formulas)
• SAP and Hyperion experience is a plus
