Role Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Analyst to support month-end financial reporting and accounting operations. The role requires strong accounting fundamentals, hands-on experience in upstream and downstream accounting processes, and the ability to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.

Specific Role- Functional Responsibilities

• Support month-end closing activities , including preparation and review of financial reports
• Perform general ledger (GL) analysis and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
• Manage and support Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
• Analyse variances and investigate discrepancies during month-end reporting
• Ensure proper accounting treatment and compliance with accounting standards
• Maintain documentation for month-end workings and audit support
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting and reporting issues
• Assist in process improvements and automation initiatives within finance operations

Experience required

• Strong understanding of upstream and downstream accounting processes
• Hands-on experience in month-end reporting and GL reconciliations
• Working knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Solid accounting fundamentals and analytical skills
• Good communication skills with the ability to explain financial data clearly
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
• Qualified Chartered Accountant with 1-3 years of experience.
