Danat Al Emarat is a world-class specialty women’s and children’s hospital in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. It offers advanced medical services across specialties including Neonatology, Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Women’s Health. The hospital is one of the very few to encompass a dedicated Fetal Medicine Department along with a full-fledged Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in the UAE. This has established Danat Al Emarat as a regional referral center for women with high-risk pregnancies, supported by its Level III NICU providing care for the most fragile newborns.

We’re looking for a results-driven
Financial Analyst
to join our healthcare finance team at Danat Al Emarat -Women & Children’s Hospital. This role is ideal for someone who understands the full financial picture of hospital operations; from balance sheet and P&L to budgeting, cash flow, and monthly close and who isn’t afraid to dig into the numbers, ask the right questions, and challenge assumptions to drive better decisions.
Responsibilities

Own and support monthly and year-end financial close

Prepare and analyze Balance Sheet, P&L, and Budget reports

Manage monthly books and closing schedules

Prepare cash flow statements and financial performance reports
-
Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations
-
Lead variance analysis across revenue, OPEX, and COS
-
Support budgeting, forecasting, and CAPEX monitoring
-
Prepare and validate incentive calculations and payment schedules
-
Build service line profitability and operational performance reports
-
Develop business cases for new services and medical equipment
-
Support payer and revenue cycle topics (authorizations, submissions, denials tracking)

Prepare operational analytics (utilization, productivity, LOS, ratios)
-
Strengthen financial controls and compliance practices
-
Build dashboards and reports using Excel and Power BI
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

4+ years of financial analysis or accounting experience
-
Advanced Excel skills
-
Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools
-
CMA or CFI strongly preferred

CA / CPA / ACCA / CFA is a nice to have
