Financial Analyst

Financial Analyst – Capital Raise Support

Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid – 4 days onsite)

Type: Contract / Full-Time (40 hours per week)

Duration: March through at least June (with potential extension)


About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to support a potential capital raise and strategic transaction for a software company. This role will work closely with senior leadership and an external brokerage firm to evaluate and analyze buyer bids, support diligence requests, and deliver financial insights that inform decision-making throughout the process.


The analyst will play a key role in managing data, preparing analyses, and responding to information requests related to a high-volume bid process. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with prior exposure to M&A, capital markets, or transaction-focused financial analysis.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the evaluation of a large volume of buyer bids in partnership with an external brokerage firm
  • Analyze external financials and assess implications for internal profitability and valuation
  • Prepare financial models, summaries, and reports to support decision-making
  • Respond to data, reporting, and analysis requests related to potential buyers
  • Assist with organizing and tracking diligence materials and bid-related information
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate financial insights
  • Support multiple transaction-related workstreams as needed


Required Qualifications

  • Prior experience in M&A, investment banking, transaction advisory, or financial analytics
  • Strong financial modeling, analysis, and reporting skills
  • Experience reviewing external financials and assessing business performance
  • Ability to manage multiple requests and priorities in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical rigor
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting capital raises, acquisitions, or strategic transactions
  • Background in software, technology, or SaaS environments
  • Familiarity with brokerage-led transaction processes


Work Environment & Expectations

  • Local to Seattle; role requires being onsite 4 days per week
  • Standard 40-hour workweek with reasonable flexibility
  • Collaborative, low-pressure onsite environment
  • Role expected to start in early March and run through at least June, with potential continuation depending on needs
