Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, in-house Financial Analyst to support our attorneys through preparation of financial analyses related to active legal cases. This role reports directly to the Managing Partner and requires strong analytical skills, accuracy, discretion, and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial analyses for legal cases
• Organize and interpret financial records and documentation
• Analyze bookkeeping and accounting data
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of work
• Communicate financial findings clearly to attorneys
• Assist with additional financial reporting as needed

Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting or related field preferred (Master’s candidates encouraged--including students of the UNCW MSA Program)
• OR relevant bookkeeping/accounting experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Proficiency with accounting software and financial reporting tools

Compensation:

$26–$30 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Higher compensation within the range will be considered for candidates with:

• Litigation-related financial analysis experience
• Advanced accounting education
• CPA eligibility or progress toward licensure
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced legal environment
