Financial Analyst

About the Role

This position plays a key part in the company’s financial planning, reporting, and business performance analysis. You’ll support corporate FP&A functions, enhance financial models, and create actionable insights for leadership across multiple business units. The ideal candidate enjoys digging into data, improving reporting processes, and partnering with stakeholders to drive decision‑making.


What You’ll Do

Financial Reporting & Forecasting

  • Develop monthly and quarterly financial reports for senior leadership, including P&L views, forecasts, and performance dashboards.
  • Support corporate forecasting cycles and contribute to long‑range planning activities.

Performance & Variance Analysis

  • Analyze revenue, margins, cash flow, and operating metrics to identify trends and performance drivers.
  • Investigate variances and present insights to FP&A leadership.

Operational & Project Support

  • Partner with finance managers and cross‑functional teams to gather data for reporting and business reviews.
  • Assist with assessing project‑level risks and financial impacts.
  • Support annual planning, budgeting, and audit-related deliverables.

Data Modeling & Analytics

  • Transform raw data into clean, analysis‑ready models.
  • Enhance reporting tools and dashboards, including opportunities for automation and workflow improvements.

Process Improvement

  • Help streamline internal processes and develop more efficient reporting templates and SOPs.
  • Contribute ideas and solutions to improve accuracy, speed, and clarity of financial insights.

Month‑End & Year‑End Activities

  • Participate in close processes, including financial confirmations, adjustments, and reconciliations.
  • Review key financial metrics and provide updates to leadership teams.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
  • ~3+ years of relevant corporate finance or FP&A experience (large‑company experience).
  • Solid understanding of financial statements, GAAP concepts, revenue/cost recognition, and forecasting principles.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights.
  • Excellent communication skills—comfortable presenting findings to both financial and non‑financial leaders.
  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) is a plus.
  • MBA or ongoing graduate finance coursework is a nice-to-have but not required.
