    JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    Under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer, the Financial Analyst provides a wide range of financial and analytical services. Such services include contract costing support in union negotiations; maintains a variety of financial information relating to budgeting and planning; utilizes advanced technological abilities to solve problems, improve processes; issues projections and guidelines, and performs related duties as assigned. The incumbent will also provide significant support in the annual budget process, including maximizing the use of the City's third-party budgeting software solutions. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, is part of the UAW Professional Bargaining Unit and provides an excellent work life balance. The position is grade 13, with an hourly rate not to exceed $27.885.
    SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
    • Education to include a Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, data analytics, business or related field.
    • One (1) to three (3) years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
    • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
