Job Title: Financial Analyst

Salary: $85,000 - $93,500

Location: Farmington, CT (Hybrid)


A major, highly successful healthcare organization in Connecticut is expanding its finance team and seeking a Financial Analyst II to support enterprise-wide financial operations. This is a highly collaborative position where you’ll work directly with multiple finance teams and senior leadership, including the VP of Finance, helping shape data-driven strategies across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze revenue trends and identify drivers behind monthly, quarterly, and year-over-year financial variance
  • Develop and maintain reporting related to revenue, AR, and month-end activities
  • Ensure financial accuracy through reconciliations and compliance with internal controls and deadlines
  • Capture and report on KPIs including payment trends, denials, reimbursement activity, and operational performance
  • Partner with finance and operational leaders to provide data-driven insights and recommendations
  • Support special projects and initiatives that improve financial visibility and performance
  • Act as a trusted resource for financial reporting and analysis across departments
  • High exposure to senior finance leadership and decision-makers

Ideal Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (or comparable healthcare financial analysis experience)
  • Experience with financial reporting, revenue analytics, and variance analysis
  • Understanding of healthcare finance concepts such as reimbursement, reserves, denials, AR, and net revenue
  • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, trending analysis)
  • Exposure to tools such as PeopleSoft General Ledger, EPIC patient accounting, or Kodiak RCA is a plus
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Self-motivated professional who enjoys continuous learning and improvement
