Financial Analyst

Financial Analyst - Remote
FT (40 hours per week)
Schedule: M-F 8:00am to 4:30pm
Location: Must live near any of our Clinic locations: Elmira, NY, Olean, NY, Dansville, NY, or Hornell, NY

Reporting to the CFO, the Financial Analyst is an integral member of the finance team, supporting the financial management and strategic planning functions of CASA-Trinity. This role is responsible for assisting with organizational and program budgeting, financial forecasting, and operational reporting. The Financial Analyst works closely with finance leadership and program teams to translate operational initiatives into financial plans, support data-driven decision-making, and ensure accurate tracking across programs, contracts, and funding sources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of the annual operating budget, including revenue and expense projections and supporting analysis
  • Develop and manage budgets for grants, contracts, and programs; prepare budget-to-actual reports and monitor financial performance
  • Build financial models and forecasts to support program growth, sustainability, and strategic initiatives
  • Conduct scenario analysis and provide insights to support executive decision-making
  • Manage grant financial activity, including vouchers, reporting, compliance, and funder communication
  • Lead contract and project setup, including tracking, documentation, and reporting structure
  • Participate in monthly financial review meetings, providing program-level analysis and recommendations
  • Review payroll data, journal entries, and financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather and analyze financial and operational data
  • Assist with audit preparation, insurance renewals, and ad-hoc financial reporting requests

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2–5+ years of experience in nonprofit accounting and/or healthcare finance
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and grant management practices
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across departments
  • Valid NYS driver’s license required

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
This position operates in a standard office environment and requires sitting, standing, and occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs). CASA-Trinity maintains a tobacco- and alcohol-free workplace.

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
